Bazzar (13/449) and Abu Shaykh (p. 91) both narrated it through the hadith of Muhammad bin Thalaba, who said, Muhammad bin Sawa narrated to us, who said, Hammam narrated to us, from Qatada, from Anas, and he related it.Bazzar said, "We do not know of anyone who narrated it from Anas except Qatada, nor from Qatada except Hammam, nor from Hammam except Ibn Sawa, nor from Ibn Sawa except Muhammad bin Thalaba." End of quote.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Muhammad bin Thalaba and his teacher Muhammad bin Sawa, for both of them make the hadith hasan.
