The Prophet ﷺ said, "If I were invited to a meal of a foreleg or a trotter, I would accept, and if a foreleg or a trotter were given to me as a gift, I would receive it."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لو دعيت إلى ذراع أو كراع لأجبت، ولو أهدي إلي ذراع أو كراع لقبلت.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Gifts (3568) and in the Book of Marriage (5178) through multiple routes from Amash, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and he related it.His saying, "the shank," refers to the narrow part of the leg that is bare of flesh.
