I saw the Prophet ﷺ eating fresh dates with cucumber.
رأيت النبي ﷺ يأكل الرطب بالقثاء.
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Foods (5440) and Muslim in the Book of Drinks (2043), both of them through Ibrahim bin Saad, from his father, from Abdullah bin Jafar, who mentioned it. Qithaa is a type of melon resembling cucumber but longer.
