A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a mount. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I will give you the offspring of a she-camel to ride."The man said, "Messenger of Allah, what would I do with the offspring of a she-camel?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Do camels give birth to anything other than she-camels?"
أن رجلا استحمل رسول الله ﷺ فقال: إني حاملك على ولد الناقة فقال: يا رسول الله ما أصنع بولد الناقة؟ فقال رسول الله ﷺ: وهل تلد الإبل إلا النوق؟
Abu Dawud (4998), Tirmidhi in his Sunan (1991) and in Shamail (238), and Ahmad (13817) all narrated it through Khalid bin Abdullah Wasiti, from Humayd, from Anas bin Malik, who said, then mentioned it. Tirmidhi said, This is a hadith sahih ghareeb.
