The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never criticized any food. If he had an appetite for something, he ate it, and if he disliked it, he simply left it.
ما عاب رسول الله ﷺ طعاما قط كان إذا اشتهى شيئا أكله، وإن كرهه تركه.
Bukhari reported it in Manaqib (3563) and Muslim in Ashribah (187:2064), both through Amash from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, who narrated it.
