The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was more bashful than a virgin in her chamber, and whenever something displeased him, we could recognize it in his face.
كان رسول الله ﷺ أشد حياء من العذراء في خدرها، وكان إذا كره شيئا عرفناه في وجهه.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Virtues (3652) and in the Book of Manners (6102), and Muslim in the Book of Virtues (2320:76), both of them via Shuba, from Qatada, who said, I heard Abdullah bin Abu Utba say, I heard Abu Saeed Khudri say... and he related it.
