The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was bright and radiant in complexion, his sweat like pearls, and when he walked he leaned slightly forward. I never touched any silk brocade or fine silk softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, nor did I ever smell any musk or ambergris more fragrant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.In another wording, I never touched any soft fabric or silk softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, nor did I ever smell any musk or perfume more fragrant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
كان رسول الله ﷺ الأزهر اللون، كأن عرقه اللؤلؤ، إذا مشى تكفأ ولا مسست ديباجة ولا حريرة ألين من كف رسول الله ﷺ، ولا شممت مسكة ولا عنبرة أطيب من رائحة رسول الله ﷺ. وفي لفظ: ولا مسست خزة ولا حريرة ألين من كف رسول الله ﷺ، ولا شممت مسكة ولا عبيرة أطيب رائحة من رائحة رسول الله ﷺ.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Fasting (1973), and Muslim in the Book of Virtues (23:2330), both through chains from Anas, who said what has already been mentioned. The other wording is Bukhari's, and it is part of a longer hadith.
