The daughter of al-Jawn, when she was brought in to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he drew near to her, said, "I seek refuge in Allah from you."He said to her, "You have sought refuge in One Most Great. Return to your family."
أن ابنة الجون لما أدخلت على رسول الله ﷺ، ودنا منها قالت: أعوذ بالله منك، فقال لها: لقد عذت بعظيم، الحقي بأهلك.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Divorce (5254), from Humaydi, he said, Walid narrated to us, he said, Uzai narrated to us, he said, I asked Zuhri, "Which of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ sought refuge from him?" He said, Urwa informed me, from Ayesha , and he mentioned it.Her saying, "I seek refuge in Allah from you," indicates the woman's lack of sense. As for what has been reported that she said this at the instruction of one of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, all such reports are daif and objectionable.
