The Prophet ﷺ performed four Umras, all of them in Dhul-Qadah except the one he performed with his Hajj. An Umra from Hudaybiyyah, or at the time of Hudaybiyyah, in Dhul-Qadah. An Umra the following year in Dhul-Qadah. An Umra from Jiranah, where he distributed the spoils of Hunayn, in Dhul-Qadah. And an Umra together with his Hajj.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Military Expeditions (4148) and Muslim in the Book of Hajj (1253), both from Hudba bin Khalid, who is also called Hudab, who said, Hammam narrated to us, who said, Qatada narrated to us that Anas told him, and he related it.His saying, "an Umrah from the following year" refers to the Umrah known as the Umrah of the Agreement. And "Jirana" is written with a kasra on the jim and a sakin on the ayn, though the ayn may also carry a kasra with the ra doubled. It is a stopping place between Taif and Makkah. See the rest of the hadiths in the Book of Hajj and Umrah.
