When Saad bin Ubada said to Abu Sufyan, "Today is the day of slaughter. Today the Kaabah will be made lawful for fighting," the Prophet ﷺ said, "Saad is wrong. Rather, this is a day on which Allah will magnify the Kaabah, and a day on which the Kaabah will be draped in its covering."
لما قال سعد بن عبادة لأبي سفيان: اليوم يوم الملحمة، اليوم تستحل الكعبة. فقال النبي ﷺ: كذب سعد، ولكن هذا يوم يعظم الله فيه الكعبة، ويوم تكسى فيه الكعبة.
