Umar bin Khattab reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abdullah bin Rawaha, "Why don't you recite some verses to spur on our mounts?"Abdullah replied, "I have given up composing poetry."Umar said to him, "Listen and obey."So Abdullah recited, "O Allah, were it not for You, we would not have been guided, nor given charity, nor prayed. So send down tranquility upon us and make our feet firm if we meet the enemy."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, have mercy on him."Umar said, "It is now certain."

Sahihعن عمر بن الخطاب قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ لعبد الله بن رواحة: لو حركت بنا الركاب فقال: قد تركت قولي. قال له عمر: اسمع وأطع. قال: اللهم لولا أنت ما اهتدينا ولا تصدقنا ولا صلينا فأنزل سكينة علينا وثبت الأقدام إن لاقينا فقال رسول الله ﷺ: اللهم ارحمه. فقال عمر: وجبت.
Nasai narrated it in Sunan al-Kubra (8193) from Muhammad bin Yahya bin Muhammad, who said, Muhammad bin Musa bin Ayun narrated to us, who said, Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ismail, from Qays, who said, Umar bin Khattab said, then he mentioned it. Its chain is sahih. Qays is Ibn Abu Hazim, and Ismail is Ibn Abu Khalid.The Prophet ﷺ set out with the companions of Hudaybiya toward Khaybar, and he did not permit those who had stayed behind from Hudaybiya to join him, because of the words of Allah Almighty, *"Those who remained behind will say, when you set out toward the spoils to take them, 'Let us follow you.' They want to change the words of Allah. Say, 'You will not follow us. Thus has Allah said before.' Then they will say, 'Rather, you envy us.' Rather, they did not understand except a little" [Fath 48:15].So Allah 
promised the people of Hudaybiya the spoils of Khaybar for themselves alone, and no others among the bedouins who stayed behind would share in them with them. His saying, "They want to change the words of Allah" [Fath 48:15], means the promise that Allah made to the people of Hudaybiya.
