Bara reported, "We were with the Prophet ﷺ, fourteen hundred in number, and Hudaybiyah was a well. We drew from it until we did not leave a single drop in it. News of this reached the Prophet ﷺ, so he came to it and sat on its edge. Then he called for a vessel of water and performed ablution. Then he rinsed his mouth and supplicated, then poured it into the well. We left it for a short while, then it gave us and our mounts as much water as we wished."
كنا مع النبي ﷺ أربع عشرة مائة والحديبية بئر، فنزحناها فلم نترك فيها قطرة، فبلغ ذلك النبي ﷺ فأتاها، فجلس على شفيرها، ثم دعا بإناء من ماء فتوضأ، ثم مضمض ودعا، ثم صبه فيها، فتركناها غير بعيد، ثم إنها أصدرتنا ما شئنا نحن وركابنا.
