When news of Hamza's killing reached the Prophet ﷺ, he wept, and when he looked upon him, he sobbed aloud.

Bazzar narrated it in Kashf Astar (1794) from Muslim bin Junada Abu Saaib, from Abdullah bin Numayr, from Muhammad bin Ali Sulami, from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said, then he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, for there is disagreement about him, but his hadith is hasan.
