The Prophet ﷺ said on the day of Badr, "This is Jibreel holding the head of his horse, equipped with the gear of war."
أن النبي ﷺ قال يوم بدر: يوم بدر هذا جبريل آخذ: برأس فرسه عليه أداة الحرب.
Bukhari reported it in the chapters on military expeditions (3995) from Ibrahim bin Musa, who said, Abdul-Wahhab informed us, who said, Khalid narrated to us, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it. He also reported it in the chapters on military expeditions (4041) with the same chain of transmission, but in it appears the phrase "that was on the day of Uhud." Ibn Hajar said, "This is a mistake in two respects. First, Abu Dharr did not mention it, nor did any of the other precise narrators of Bukhari, nor did Ismaili or Abu Naeem extract it. Second, what is known regarding this text is the day of Badr, not the day of Uhud."
