He heard Abu Ayub al-Ansari say, "We formed our ranks on the day of Badr, and a few of us rushed forward ahead of the line. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at them and said, 'Stay with me, stay with me.'"Muamar said, "Some of us rushed forward," and he said, "We formed our ranks on the day of Badr."
إنه سمع أبا أيوب الأنصاري يقول: صففنا يوم بدر، فندرت منا نادرة أمام الصف، فنظر رسول الله ﷺ إليهم فقال: معي معي كذا. قال معمر: فبدرت منا بادرة وقال: صففنا يوم بدر.
Ahmad narrated it (23569, 23567) through two routes from Ibn Lahia, who said, Yazid bin Abu Habib told me that Aslam Abu Imran Tujaybi narrated it and mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Ibn Lahia, for one of Ahmad's two routes contains Abdullah bin Mubarak, and his narration from Ibn Lahia is sound.For more, see the book of jihad.
