I heard Abu Barzah, after he came out from the presence of Ubaydullah bin Ziyad in a state of anger, say, "I never thought I would live long enough to be left among a people who reproach me for my companionship with Muhammad ﷺ. They say, 'This Muhammad of yours was short and stocky!' I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ speak about the Hawd, so whoever denies it, may Allah not give him to drink from it."
Imam Ahmad (19779) narrated it from Yazid bin Harun, who reported to us from Muhammad bin Mahzam Anazi, from Abu Talut Anazi, who said, then he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Mahzam, whose hadith is hasan.
