The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey from me even a single verse. Narrate from the Children of Israil, there is no harm in that. But whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his seat in the Fire."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: بلغوا عني ولو آية، وحدثوا عن بني إسرائيل ولا حرج، ومن كذب علي متعمدا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار.
Bukhari narrated it in the Accounts of the Prophets (3461), from Abu Asim Dahhak bin Makhlad, who said, Uzai informed us, who said, Hassan bin Atiya narrated to us, from Abu Kabsha, from Abdullah bin Amr, who mentioned it.
