Abu Hurairah reported,
"The mouse is a transformed creature. The proof of this is that if sheep's milk is placed before it, it drinks it, but if camel's milk is placed before it, it will not even taste it."Kaab said to him, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"He replied, "Was the Torah revealed to me?"

الفأرة مسخ، وآية ذلك أنه يوضع بين يديها لبن الغنم فتشربه، ويوضع بين يديها لبن الإبل فلا تذوقه فقال له كعب: أسمعت هذا من رسول الله ﷺ؟ قال: أفأنزلت علي التوراة؟
Muslim reported it in the Book of Asceticism and Softening of Hearts (2997:62), on the authority of Abu Kurayb Muhammad bin Ala, who said, Abu Usama narrated to us, from Hisham, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and he mentioned it.Reconciling the hadith of Abdullah bin Masud with this hadith is that the transformed mouse had already had its lineage and offspring come to an end, while the mouse that exists now predates the transformed mouse in existence, but through their connection with one another, some of the characteristics of the transformed mouse were transferred to the existing mouse. This is indicated by what appears in Sahih Muslim (2663), in the hadith of Ibn Masud, who said, a man said, "Messenger of Allah, are monkeys and pigs among what was transformed?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah 
did not destroy a people or punish a people and then give them offspring, and monkeys and pigs existed before that." According to this, there is no difficulty between the two hadiths.
