The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The house in the heavens is called ad-Durah. It resembles the structure of this Sacred House, and if it were to fall, it would fall directly upon it. Seventy thousand angels enter it every day, never to return to it again."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: البيت الذي في السماء يقال له: الضراح، وهو مثل بناء هذا البيت الحرام، ولو سقط لسقط عليه، يدخله كل يوم سبعون ألف ملك لا يعودون فيه أبدا.
Azraqi narrated it in Akhbar Makkah (1/49) from his grandfather, from Saeed bin Salim, Ibn Jurayj told me, from Safwan bin Salim, from Kurayb the freedman of Ibn Abbas, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Saeed bin Salim, who is al-Qaddah, about whom there is disagreement, though his hadith is hasan.It has also been narrated with the same meaning from Qatada, who said, it was mentioned to us that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ said one day to his companions, "Do you know what the Frequented House is?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "It is a masjid in the sky directly above the Kaaba, such that if it fell, it would fall on it, or it would fall on the masjid. Seventy thousand angels pray in it every day, and when they leave it they never return to it again."Tabari narrated it in his Tafsir (21/565) with a sahih chain, from Bishr, who said, Yazid told us, who said, Saeed told us, from Qatada, and he related it. This mursal narration strengthens the raised (marfu) report concerning the Frequented House, that it is directly above the Kaaba.
