The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Frequented House is in the seventh heaven. Every day, seventy thousand angels enter it, and they never return to it again."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: البيت المعمور في السماء السابعة، يدخله كل يوم سبعون ألف ملك ثم لا يعودون إليه.
Ahmad (12558), Abd bin Humayd (1210), and Tabari in his tafsir (21/565) all narrated it through various routes from Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit, from Anas, who related it. Muslim (162) also narrated it through this route at greater length.In the wording of Tabari, "When the angel ascended with me to the seventh heaven, I arrived at a structure and asked the angel, 'What is this?' He said, 'This is a structure that Allah built for the angels. Seventy thousand angels enter it every day, glorifying Allah and declaring His purity, and they never return to it again.'" He narrated it in his tafsir from Muhammad bin Sinan Qazzaz, who said, Musa bin Ismail told us, who said, Sulayman told us, from Thabit, from Anas, who related it.
