It was related that some men from among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ disagreed among themselves, with some of them saying that migration had come to an end. Talq said, "So I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'Messenger of Allah, some people are saying that migration has come to an end.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Migration will not end as long as jihad continues."
حدث أن رجالا من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ قال بعضهم: إن الهجرة قد انقطعت، فاختلفوا في ذلك قال: فانطلقت إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقلت: يا رسول الله! إن أنا ساقولون: إن الهجرة قد انقطعت، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الهجرة لاتنقطع ما كان الجهاد.
