The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out a military expedition that included Abdullah bin Umar toward Najd. They captured a large number of camels as spoils, and each man's share came to twelve camels, or eleven camels, with an additional camel given to each as a bonus.
أن رسول الله ﷺ بعث سرية فيها عبد الله بن عمر قبل نجد، فغنموا إبلا كثيرة فكان سهمأنهم اثني عشربعيرا أو أحد عشر بعيرا، ونفلوا بعيرا بعيرا.
Malik narrated it in jihad (10) from Nafi, from Abdullah bin Umar, and he mentioned it.Bukhari narrated it in the obligation of khumus (3134), and Muslim in jihad and expeditions (1749:35), both of them through the route of Malik with the same wording.
