The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us additional spoils beyond our share of the khums, and I received an aged she-camel. A sharif is an old, large camel.
نقلنا رسول الله ﷺ نفلا سوى نصيبنا من الخمس، فأصابني شارف- والشارف: المسن الكبير.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions (1750:38) via Abdullah bin Raja, from Yunus, from Zuhri, from Salim, from his father, and he related it.
