"Were it not for the last of the Muslims, I would not conquer any town without dividing it among its people, just as the Prophet ﷺ divided Khaybar."
لو لا آخر المسلمين ما فتحت قرية إلا قسمتها بين أهلها كما قسم النبي ﷺ خيبر.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Obligation of the One-Fifth Share" (3125), from Sadaqah, who said, Abdul-Rahman told us, from Malik, from Zayd bin Aslam, from his father, who said, Umar said, and then he mentioned it.
