Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

Ali reported, "I had an old she-camel that was my share of the spoils from the day of Badr, and the Prophet ﷺ had given me another old she-camel from the fifth set aside for him. When I wanted to consummate my marriage with Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I made an arrangement with a goldsmith from the tribe of Banu Qaynuqa to travel with me so we could fetch idhkhir grass, which I intended to sell to the goldsmiths to help finance my wedding feast. While I was gathering saddles, sacks, and ropes for my two camels, which were kneeling beside the chamber of a man from the Ansar, I went off to collect what I needed. When I returned, I found that the humps of my two camels had been cut off, their flanks slit open, and pieces taken from their livers. I could not hold back my tears when I saw that sight.I asked, 'Who did this?'They said, 'Hamza bin Abdul-Muttalib did it. He is in this house drinking with some men of the Ansar.'So I set off and entered upon the Prophet ﷺ, and Zayd bin Haritha was with him. The Prophet ﷺ read in my face what had happened, and he asked, 'What is the matter with you?'I said, 'Messenger of Allah, I have never seen anything like what happened today. Hamza attacked my two she-camels, cut off their humps and slit open their flanks, and there he is in a house with drinking companions.'The Prophet ﷺ called for his cloak, put it on, and set out walking. Zayd bin Haritha and I followed him until he came to the house where Hamza was. He asked permission to enter, and they granted it to them, and there they were, drinking. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to reproach Hamza for what he had done, but Hamza was drunk, his eyes red. Hamza looked at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then raised his gaze to look at his knees, then raised his gaze to look at his navel, then raised his gaze to look at his face. Then Hamza said, 'Are you anything but slaves of my father?'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ realized that he was drunk, so he stepped backward on his heels and withdrew, and we went out with him."

Sahih
