Qays bin Saad al-Ansari, who was the standard-bearer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, intended to perform Hajj, so he combed his hair.
أن قيس بن سعد الأنصاري- وكان صاحب لواء رسول الله ﷺ- أراد الحج، فرجل.
Bukhari related it in "Jihad and Expeditions" (2974) from Saeed bin Abu Maryam, who said, Layth narrated to us, he said, Aqeel informed me, from Ibn Shihab, who said, Thalaba bin Abu Malik Qurazi informed me, and he mentioned it.
