The Prophet ﷺ said, "A morning or an evening spent in the cause of Allah is better than the world and all it contains."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: الروحة والغدوة في سبيل الله أفضل من الدنيا وما فيها.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions (2794), and Muslim in the Book of Governance (1881:114), both of them through Sufyan (that is, Thawri), from Abu Hazim, from Sahl bin Saad, who mentioned it.
