Ahmad (24977) and Bazzar - Kashf Astar (2118) both narrated it from the hadith of Yahya bin Ayub, who said, Saeed bin Abdul-Rahman Jumahi narrated to us, from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha, and he mentioned the same, except that Bazzar said, "the righteous man sees it." Bazzar said, We do not know of anyone who narrated it this way except Saeed. Then he narrated it by another route, through Isma bin Muhammad, from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, mentioning something similar. He said, We do not know of anyone who narrated it from Hisham except Isma and Saeed.Haythami said in Majma (7/172), "Ahmad and Bazzar narrated it, and the men of Ahmad's chain are the men of sahih." I say, its chain is hasan because of what has been said about Saeed bin Abdul-Rahman Jumahi, though he is hasan al-hadith. He was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Main, Ibn Numayr, Musa bin Harun, Ajli, and Hakim. Ibn Hibban went to an extreme regarding him, saying, He narrates from Abdullah bin Umar and other trustworthy narrators fabricated things, such that whoever hears them imagines he deliberately fabricated them. Ibn Jawzi transmitted from Abu Hatim, who said, "He cannot be relied upon."Allah, the Exalted, knows best. The rest of the hadiths about dreams will come in the Book of Dreams.
