I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah does not entrust a servant with the care of any flock without questioning him about it on the Day of Resurrection, asking how he managed it."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: إن الله لم يسترع عبدا رعية إلا وهو سائله عنها يوم القيامة كيف صنع فيها.

Abu Yaala (7174) narrated it from Hasan bin Umar bin Shaqiq bin Asma Jarmi, who said, Jafar narrated to us, from Hisham, from Muhammad bin Sirin, who mentioned the visit of Amr bin Hazm Ansari to Muawiya bin Abu Sufyan when he had appointed his son Yazid bin Abu Muawiya as his successor, in a long story, and he mentioned that Amr bin Hazm related this hadith in the presence of Muawiya. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Hasan bin Umar bin Shaqiq Jarmi and Jafar bin Sulayman Dubai, both of whom render the hadith hasan. Haythami said in al-Majmu (7/248–249), "Abu Yaala narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."
