The Prophet ﷺ forbade combining unripe dates with ripe dates, and Zabib with ripe dates.
عن النبي ﷺ قال: نهى، عن البلح والتمر، والزبيب والتمر.
Reported by Abu Dawud (3705), Nasai (5547), and Ahmad (18820), all through the route of Shuba, who said, Hakam narrated to us, saying, I heard Ibn Abu Layla, from a man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, and he related it. Its isnad is sahih. Ibn Abu Layla is Abdul-Rahman, and Hakam is Ibn Utayba the Kufan.
