He used to say that it has been forbidden to soak unripe dates and ripe dates together to make nabidh, or to soak dried dates and raisins together.
أنه كان يقول: قد نهي أن ينبذ البسر والرطب جميعا، والتمر والزبيب جميعا.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (1991:28), from Muhammad bin Rafi, who said, Abdul-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Musa bin Uqba informed me, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said, and he mentioned it.
