The Prophet ﷺ forbade mixing dates and Zabib together, and mixing unripe dates and ripe dates together. He wrote to the people of Jurash forbidding them from the mixture of dates and Zabib.
نهى النبي ﷺ أن يخلط التمر والزبيب جميعا، وأن يخلط البسر والتمر جميعا، وكتب إلى أهل جرش ينهاهم عن خليط التمر والزبيب.
Muslim (1990) narrated it from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, who said, Ali bin Mushir told us, from Shaybani, from Habib, from Saeed bin Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said the same.
