The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not prepare nabidh in gourds or in vessels coated with pitch."Then Abu Hurairah would add, "And avoid green glazed jars."

عن أبي هريرة قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا تنتبذوا في الدباء ولا في المزفت، ثم يقول أبو هريرة: واجتنبوا الحناتم.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (1993: 31), by way of Amr Naqid, who said, Sufyan bin Uyayna narrated to us, from Zuhri, who said, Abu Salama informed him that he heard Abu Hurairah say, and then he related it.
