The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whatever intoxicates in large amounts, a small amount of it is also forbidden."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما أسكر كثيره فقليله حرام.
Narrated by Abu Dawud (3681), Tirmidhi (1865), Ibn Majah (3393), and Ahmad (14703), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (5382), all of them through the route of Dawud bin Bakr bin Abu Firat, from Muhammad bin Munkadir, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said, then he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Dawud bin Bakr, for his narrations are hasan. Tirmidhi said, hasan gharib.
