The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade making nabidh in the Naqir, the vessel coated with pitch, the gourd, and the green jar, and he said, "Every intoxicant is forbidden."
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن ينبذ في النقير، والمزفت، والدباء، والحنتمة، وقال: كل مسكر حرام.
Nasai (5588, 5589), Ibn Majah (3401), and Ahmad (9539, 10510) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (5408) graded it sahih, all of them through routes from Muhammad bin Amr, who said, Abu Salama narrated to us, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Nasai and Ahmad, in the first instance, confined themselves to his saying, "Every intoxicant is forbidden."Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is Ibn Alqama bin Waqqas Laythi, for he is hasan al-hadith. And Abu Salama is Ibn Abdul-Rahman bin Awf.
