The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that the meat of an animal that feeds on filth be eaten, or that its milk be drunk.

Ibn Abu Shayba (8/147) narrated it from Shababa (that is, Ibn Sawwar), who said, Mughira bin Muslim narrated to us, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, and he mentioned it.Its isnad is hasan because of Mughira bin Muslim, who is Qasmali Madaini, and he is hasan al-hadith. Hafiz graded its isnad hasan in Fath al-Bari (9/648).
