The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited on the day of Khaybar every predatory animal with fangs, animals used as targets for shooting, and domesticated donkeys.
إن رسول الله ﷺ حرم يوم خيبر كل ذي ناب من السباع، والمجثمة، والحمار الإنسي.
Tirmidhi (1795) and Ahmad (8789) narrated it through the route of Zaida, from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, who related it. Tirmidhi said, "Hasan sahih."I say, its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is Ibn Alqama bin Waqqas Laythi, for his hadith is hasan, and the rest of its narrators are reliable. Zaida is Ibn Qudama Thaqafi.
