The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ayesha, a household without dates, its people go hungry. Ayesha, a household without dates, its people go hungry," or he said, "its people are hungry." He repeated it two or three times.
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يا عائشة بيت لا تمر فيه جياع أهله، يا عائشة بيت لا تمر فيه جياع أهله- أو جاع أهله- قالها مرتين أو ثلاثا.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (153:2046) from Abdullah bin Maslama bin Qanab, who said, "Yaqub bin Muhammad bin Tahlaa narrated to us, from Abu Rijal Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman, from his mother (she is Amra bint Abdul-Rahman), from Ayesha," and he related it.
