Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (2051), from Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Darimi, who said, Yahya bin Hassan told us, Sulayman bin Bilal told us, from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha, and he related it as mentioned.As for what was narrated from Umm Hani bint Abu Talib, who said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to see me and said, 'Do you have anything?' I said, 'No, except some dry crusts and vinegar.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Bring it near, for no house that has vinegar in it is truly poor,'" this is daif.Tirmidhi narrated it (1841) from Abu Kurayb Muhammad bin Ala, who said, Ibn Ayyash told us, from Abu Hamza Thumali, from Shaybi, from Umm Hani bint Abu Talib, and he related it as mentioned. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan gharib hadith from this route. We do not know it from the hadith of Umm Hani except by this route."I say, its chain is daif because of Abu Hamza Thumali, whose name is Thabit bin Abu Safiyya Kufi. He is daif by the agreement of the scholars, for he was declared daif by Imam Ahmad, Yahya bin Main, Abu Hatim, Nasai, Ibn Adi, Ibn Hibban, and others.
