A group of people bring us meat, and we do not know whether the name of Allah was mentioned over it or not.He replied, "Mention the name of Allah over it yourselves and eat it."She said, "They had only recently left disbelief."
أن قوما يأتونا باللحم، لا ندري: أذكر اسم الله عليه أم لا؟ فقال: سموا عليه أنتم وكلوه قالت: وكانوا حديثي عهدبالكفر.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Slaughtered Animals and Game (5507) from Muhammad bin Ubaydullah, who said, Usama bin Hafs Madani narrated to us, from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.Malik narrated it in the Book of Slaughtered Animals (1) from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, as a mursal narration. Ibn Abdul-Barr said in Tamhid (22/298), "As far as I know, there is no disagreement about Malik's version being mursal, but a group of narrators have connected this hadith, transmitting it from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha."I say, among these narrators are Usama bin Hafs Madani, as found in Bukhari, and Nadr bin Shumayl, as found in Nasai (4336).
