The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, then later said, "Eat, give in charity, take provisions from it, and store it."
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن أكل لحوم الضحايا بعد ثلاثة أيام ثم قال بعد: كلوا وتصدقوا وتزودوا وادخروا.
Malik narrated it in Chapter on Sacrifices (6), from Abu Zubayr Makki, from Jabir bin Abdullah, and he related it.Muslim narrated it in Chapter on Sacrifices (29:1972) via Malik with the same chain.
