The Prophet ﷺ came across an elderly man walking between his two sons, leaning on them for support.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What is the matter with this man?"His two sons replied, "Messenger of Allah, he had made a vow."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ride, old man, for Allah has no need of you or your vow."
أن النبي ﷺ أدرك شيخا يمشي بين ابنيه، يتوكأ عليهما، فقال النبي ﷺ: ما شأن هذا؟ قال ابناه: يا رسول الله، كان عليه نذر، فقال النبي ﷺ: اركب أيها الشيخ فإن الله غني عنك وعن نذرك.
