Maqil bin Yasar reported,
Two men brought a dispute over a piece of land before him, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever swears an oath in order to seize the property of his brother through it will meet Allah 
while He is angry with him.'"

أن رجلين اختصما إليه في أرض فقال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: من حلف على يمين ليقتطع بها مال أخيه، لقي الله عز وجل وهو عليه غضبان.
Abu Dawud Tayalisi (975) narrated it from Jafar bin Sulayman, from Mualla Firdawsi, from Muawiya bin Qurra, from Maqil bin Yasar, and he related it. Its chain of transmission is sahih.Ahmad (20295), Tabarani (20/528), and Hakim (4/294) all narrated it through the hadith of Shubah, who said, "Iyad Abu Khalid told me, saying, there was a dispute between two neighbors of Maqil bin Yasar, and the matter of an oath fell upon one of them, and I heard Maqil bin Yasar say," and he related the same thing.Hakim said, "Its chain of transmission is sahih." I say, rather it contains Iyad Abu Khalid, who is Bajali, from whom no one narrated except Shubah, as Ali bin Madini said, and he said, "He is an unknown shaykh." Indeed, it is as he said, but he was corroborated in the chain of transmission.
