I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, while he was walking between two of the Jamarat, "Whoever seizes a hand's span of a Muslim man's property by a false oath, let him prepare his dwelling in the Fire."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول وهو يمشي بين جمرتين من الجمار، وهو يقول: من أخذ شبرا من مال امرئ مسلم بيمين فاجرة فليتبوأ بيتا من النار.
Ibn Hibban narrated it in his Sahih (5165) from Muhammad bin Mukarram, who said, "Amr bin Ali Fallas narrated to us, who said, 'Umar bin Abdul-Wahhab Riyahi narrated to us, who said, "Yazid bin Zuray narrated to us, who said, Rawh bin Qasim narrated to us, from Ismail bin Umaya, from Umar bin Ataa, from Ubayd bin Jurayj, from Harith bin Barsa," and he mentioned the hadith.Ibn Hibban said, "Umar bin Abdul-Wahhab alone transmitted it."I say, Umar bin Abdul-Wahhab is trustworthy, one of the men of Muslim, so his being the sole transmitter does not harm the hadith. Moreover, he was not actually the sole transmitter as Ibn Hibban claimed. Hakim narrated it (4/294–295) through another route from Ismail bin Umaya with his chain of transmission, adding to it, "Let your witness convey it to your absent one," twice or three times. And he said, "This is a hadith sahih in its chain of transmission, and the two of them did not include it in this wording."
