I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was sitting in the shade of the Kaabah. When he saw me, he said, "By the Lord of the Kaabah, they are the greatest losers."I came forward and sat down, but I could not stay still, so I stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransomed for you, who are they?"He replied, "They are the wealthiest people, except those who give like this, and like this, and like this," gesturing in front of him, behind him, to his right, and to his left… the rest of the hadith.
انتهيت إلى النبي ﷺ وهو جالس في ظل الكعبة، فلما رآني قال: هم الأخسرون، ورب الكعبة قال: فجئت حتى جلست، فلم أتقار أن قمت، فقلت: يا رسول الله، فداك أبي وأمي من هم؟ قال: هم الأكثرون أموالا، إلا من قال هكذا وهكذا وهكذا (من بين يديه ومن خلفه عن يمينه وعن شماله)… الحديث
Bukhari related it in the Book of Oaths and Vows (6638), and Muslim in the Book of Zakat (30:990), both of them via Amash, from Marur bin Suwayd, from Abu Dharr, who narrated it. The wording given here is that of Muslim.
