Saad bin Ubada said, "If I saw a man with my wife, I would strike him with the sharp edge of my sword, not the flat side."This reached the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Are you amazed at Saad's jealousy? By Allah, I am more jealous than he is, and Allah is more jealous than I am."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hudud (6846), and Muslim in the Book of Lian (17:1499), via Abu Awana, who said, Abdullah bin Numayr narrated to us, from Warrad the scribe of Mughira, from Mughira bin Shuba, who said, and then he narrated it.
