Abdullah bin Shaddad said, while the two who had engaged in mutual cursing were mentioned in the presence of Ibn Abbas, Ibn Shaddad asked, "Are these the two about whom the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Had I stoned anyone without clear evidence, I would have stoned these two'?"Ibn Abbas replied, "No, that was a different woman who openly displayed her misconduct."In another narration, "No, that was a woman who used to openly commit evil while professing Islam."
قال عبد الله بن شداد- وذكر المتلاعنان عند ابن عباس- فقال ابن شداد: أهما اللذان قال النبي ﷺ: لو كنت راجما أحدا بغير بينة لرجمتهما! فقال ابن عباس: لا، تلك امرأة أعلنت. وفي رواية: لا، تلك امرأة كانت تظهر في الإسلام السوء.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Punishments (6855) and Muslim in the Book of Lian (13:1497), both through Sufyan bin Uyayna, who said, Abu Zinad told us, from Qasim bin Muhammad, with this same wording.The second version reported by both of them is found in Bukhari in the Book of Punishments (6856) and Muslim in the Book of Lian (12:1497), through Layth, who said, Yahya bin Saeed told us, from Abdul-Rahman bin Qasim, from Qasim bin Muhammad, who said, and then he related it.
