Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon on the day of the conquest of Mecca. He pronounced the takbir three times, then said, "There is no god but Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and single-handedly defeated the confederates. Every distinction, every claim of blood or wealth that was boasted of in the days of ignorance lies beneath these two feet of mine, except for the watering of the pilgrims and the custodianship of the Kabah."Then he said, "The blood-money for a killing that resembles intentional, committed with a whip or a stick, is one hundred camels, forty of which must be pregnant females carrying their young."
