Rabi bin Sabra reported,

His father went on the campaign with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the conquest of Mecca. He said, "We stayed there fifteen days, thirty between night and day, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted us temporary marriage with women.So I went out along with a man from my people. I had an advantage over him in good looks, while he was close to being unattractive. Each of us had a cloak. My cloak was worn out, while my cousin's cloak was new and fresh.When we reached the lower part of Mecca, or its upper part, a young woman as graceful as a long-necked young she-camel came up to us. We said, "Would you let one of us enjoy a temporary marriage with you?"She said, "What will you offer?"Each of us spread out his cloak. She began looking the two men over. My companion saw her glancing at her side toward him, so he said, "This man's cloak is worn out, but my cloak is new and fresh."She kept saying, "This man's cloak is fine," two or three times.Then I entered into temporary marriage with her, and I did not leave until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it.

عن الربيع بن سبرة

أن أباه غزا مع رسول الله ﷺ فتح مكة. قال: فأقمنا بها خمس عشرة. (ثلاثين بين ليلة ويوم) فأذن لنا رسول الله ﷺ في متعة النساء. فخرجت أنا ورجل من قومي. ولي عليه فضل في الجمال. وهو قريب من الدمامة. مع كل واحد منا برد. فبردي خلق. وأما برد ابن عمي فبرد جديد. غض. حتى إذا كنا بأسفل مكة، أو بأعلاها فتلقتنا فتاة مثل البكرة العنطنطة. فقلنا: هل لك أن يستمتع منك أحدنا؟ قالت: وماذا تبذلان؟ فنشر كل واحد منا برده. فجعلت تنظر إلى الرجلين. ويراها صاحبي تنظر إلى عطفها. فقال: إن برد هذا خلق وبردي جديد غض. فتقول: برد هذا لا بأس به. ثلاث مرار أو مرتين. ثم استمتعت منها. فلم أخرج حتى حرمها رسول الله ﷺ.
