The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that a woman be married to a man who is already married to her Amtah or her maternal aunt.
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن تنكح المرأة على عمتها أو خالتها.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5108) from Abdan, who said, Abdullah told us, Asim told us, from Shaybi, who heard Jabir say what follows.Bukhari said afterward, "Dawud and Ibn Awn said, from Shaybi, from Abu Hurairah."In Bukhari's statement, "Abu Dawud and Ibn Awn said..." there is an indication from him of the disagreement over Shaybi's chain. His including the hadith of Jabir is evidence that he considered it established, and that the disagreement he pointed to does not harm or undermine it. That is why Ibn Hajar said, "This disagreement did not undermine the hadith in Bukhari's view, because Shaybi is better known through Jabir than through Abu Hurairah." And he said elsewhere, "What appears to be the case is that both routes are preserved." Fath al-Bari (9/161). This is indeed so, as shown in the following hadith.
